عن الدورة

This course provides a systematic instructional walkthrough of essential Tajweed disciplines governing the recitation of the Holy Quran, following the narration of Hafs from Asim via the Tariq of Al-Shatibiyyah. Combining theoretical phonetics from classical codifications such as Tuhfat Al-Atfal with visual worksheets from Al-Tajweed bi-Shakl Jadeed (Part 1) authored by Samir Al-Koumi, the curriculum builds a structured framework for accurate Quranic articulation.

The lessons guide students through the primary rules of non-vocalized consonants, vowel durations, and articulation mechanics. Core topics include the four classical rulings of Nun Sakinah and Tanween (Izhar, Idgham with and without Ghunnah, Iqlab, and Ikhfa’), the three operational states of quiescent Meem (Al-Meem Al-Sakinah), the classifications of quiescent Laams (Laam Al-Ta’reef, Laam Al-Amr, Laam Al-Fi’l, and Laam Al-Ism), the phonetic criteria governing the letter Raa’ (Tafkheem, Tarqeeq, and discretionary cases), nasalization (Ghunnah), consonant bouncing (Qalqalah), and the architectural divisions of prolongation (Madd Asli and Madd Far’i).

In addition to rule deduction, each module incorporates applied verse-by-verse analysis across short Quranic chapters and foundational passages from Surah Al-Fatihah and Surah Al-Baqarah. Because theoretical knowledge alone cannot produce correct recitation, students must actively imitate the vocal demonstrations, practice the exercises out loud, and seek oral verification from a qualified instructor to develop precise articulation habits.

ماذا سوف تتعلم؟

  • Apply the four rulings of Nun Sakinah and Tanween (Izhar Halqi, Idgham, Iqlab, and Ikhfa' Haqiqi)
  • Differentiate between assimilation with nasalization (Idgham bi-Ghunnah) and complete non-nasalized assimilation (Idgham bi-Ghayr Ghunnah)
  • Identify the three rules of Meem Sakinah and execute the acoustic distinction between Ikhfa' Shafawi and Iqlab
  • Apply the rules of heavy (Tafkheem) and light (Tarqeeq) pronunciation to the letter Raa' based on vowel environments
  • Classify and articulate the five forms of quiescent Laams (Laam Al-Ta'reef, Laam Al-Ism, Laam Al-Amr, Laam Al-Fi'l, and Laam Al-Harf)
  • Distinguish the levels and mechanics of consonant oscillation (Qalqalah Sughra and Qalqalah Kubra)
  • Measure and sustain primary and secondary prolongations (Madd Asli, Badal, 'Iwad, Silah, Muttasil, Munfasil, 'Aarid, and Laazim)
  • Read and interpret orthographic Quranic signs, including pause markers (Waqf Al-Ta'anuq) and silent/supralinear script notations
